Caslon Rounded
Product Description
Introducing Caslon Rounded in collaboration with Commercial Type! This forgotten typeface found in the Specimen of Printing Types by Henry Caslon, 1842 was recently digitised by Commercial Type and is now available in wood type.
In Commercial Type’s own words -
”Rounding the terminals of letters has long fascinated designers—the first rounded typeface was cut by the Caslon & Catherwood foundry in 1836. The rounded terminals give it a warm and friendly appearance and, with a well considered lowercase, it is a design from the past remade for today. A headline face with matching italic, inline, and ornamented variants, it is a design of real character.”
